LVP

(10 to 20 years)

 

LVP stands for Luxury Vinyl Planks and can be used anywhere thru out the house, this material is ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Accidental spills or pet messes are no match for the durability and strength for LVP’s scratch resistant protective clear layer. One of the easiest floor materials to clean. LVP has a variety of installation methods like the click and lock installation method. Does not require any glue to install. This floor covering lays right on top of the floor foundation.

LVT

(10 to 20 years)

LVT, also known as Luxury Vinyl Tile, is a thinner product with all the characteristics as the LVP, but one. The installation method is Glue Down. Installing the LVP requires it to be glued down to the house foundation or existing surface if possible. It is water resistant and too many, a more affordable floor covering material than the LVP. LVT can be installed almost everywhere as well.

Laminate

(10 to 20 years)

Laminate is WATER RESISTANT, it can contain spills, but only for such an amount of time before moisture or liquids penetrate in the seams and eventually be soaked in by the laminate planks. Laminate is not made of plastic like the LVP & LVT but rather made from melamine resin and fiber board materials. The top layer has an imprinted textured image made to look like real wood.

Carpet

(5 to 15 years)​

Carpet is a textile floor covering typically consisting of an upper layer of pile attached to a backing. The pile was traditionally made from wool, but since the 20 th century synthetic fibers such as polypropylene, nylon, or polyester have often been used, as these fibers are less expensive than wool.

Hardwood

(40-80 years or more)​

Engineered hardwood flooring is a type of wood floor that consists of several wood or plywood layers. Bottom and middle layers are manufactured from cross-laid solid wood or plywood planks. The top layer consists of a solid sawn wood lamella, often stained and prefinished in factory setting. Solid hardwood flooring planks are produced from single pieces of wood, can be purchased unfinished or prefinished.

Sheet Vinyl

(10 to 20 years)

Vinyl flooring is a product composed of several layers of different materials compressed together to form a highly durable, practical and affordable floor covering. Both LVT and vinyl roll are made from the same materials. Sheet vinyl might seem a thing of the past, however here at Correa Flooring, our lead project manager has many years of experience installing it in both commercial and residential. Sheet vinyl is typically installed in bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchen and or dining rooms.

VCT 

(10 to 20 years)

VCT stands for vinyl composite tile. This is made from a combination of limestone and other materials. You’ve probably have seen this type of flooring installed in elementary school cafeterias, local supermarkets and businesses. It is installed more often for commercial purposes rather than residential.

Carpet Tile

(10 to 20 years)

Carpet tiles are squares cut from wall-to-wall rolls which can be fitted together to make up a carpet. Carpet tiles come in different sizes: 48×48, 50×50, 60×60 and 96×96 cm. They come in a wide variety of colors and textures. Carpet tile is designed to withstand high traffic areas. It comes in a variety of colors and designs. It is the warmer comparison of VCT. Carpet tile compliments any space it is installed in. The best part of carpet tile is that if a section of your carpet has become worn or stained, all that has to be done is pull the tile up and replace it with another.
